This guitar shreds, it sounds so smooth and full of tone. Some nice lead tones and crystal clear!

A work horse, slowly becoming my favorite guitar for a classic tone.

It gets a nice and bluesy rock almost like a My Heads in Mississippi vibe.

Les Paul Scorpion

Retrofit Epiphone Les Paul

Totally gutted this Les Paul 100, all new custom wiring, 500k pots, new selector jack, Seymour Duncan Phat Cat Neck and DiMarzio Super Distortion Bridge pickups.

Sounds like a beast, has a large sound with a little pluck to it. Easily goes holds its own against more expensive Les Paul models after these upgrades.

Custom Custom – 1st fully custom build

Body is from 2 reclaimed dining room tables, Mahagony and Cherry woods. All custom wiring with 500k pots, Puretone input jack, Seymour Duncan, P-Rail Pickups (with full splits), Wilkinson EZ Lok Tuners.

This one has such a unique sound, kind of like if a Les Paul mated with a Jazzmaster while messing around with an Archtop. Excels with rhythm tones.

Custom Stratocaster – 1st pour paint body

Basswood body, Custom wiring with 500k pots and individual pick up selectors and push pull for phase selection. EMG neck, Seymour Duncan SSL 5 middle and Rail Hammer Chisel Bridge pickups, Wilkinson locking tuners, Fender Mexican Strat bridge.

This is like the swiss army knife of guitars, you can get so many different sounds from it, the out of phase sounds are quite interesting.

Pe Po 7

Retrofit of a 1970s Russian Formanta

Totally gutted with the exception of the pickups to keep some of the original sound profile. Used custom wiring and 250k pots with switches from Home Depot, Added an on/off power switch in place of the fried out effects unit that was inside. Brand new steel knobs with a custom made double bridge. New Wilkinson tuners and Pure tone input jack.

Sounds like a fuzzed out Beatles record. Not sure if this is the final version of this yet as i am not loving the sound. I have some other ideas i may bake into this one yet.

Squier Blue

Retrofitted Squier Affinity

Gutted all of this crappy Squier, from electronics down to even the selector switches. Added new custom wiring with 500k pots and humbucker series/parallel switch, Bare Knuckle True grit neck, Seymour Duncan Cool Rails Middle, Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder bridge pickups, Fender tuners and fender mexican strat bridge.

This was pretty much a really cheap guitar I got used to just see if i could get this concept to work. And does it, what a beautifully gritty growl. It is a little weak clean, but man can this thing cook distorted. The middle position humbucker can be split, series or parallel to cook up different levels of sound. It isn’t super versatile, but I love the grungy energy. In the future I may swap out the Cool Rails for a Hot Rails to see if that cleans up the stale clean tones, but as is I dig it.

Custom Off-set Guitar

Kind of a Jazzmaster/ Jaguar/ Mustang ish body I found someone made online. They were selling it because they couldn’t find parts to fit the body they cut out. So of course, I said challenge excepted! I cut my own pick guard and used a slim strat bridge paired with a tune-o-matic to get the strings aligned properly. I had to use les paul wiring schematics and try to fit in the telecaster groove they had cut. I used new 500k pots and the old selector switch from the Les Paul 100 I took apart. The Bill Lawrence L500 in the neck and the Seymour Duncan Distortion in the bridge give this guitar such rich full sound. The Wilkinson locking tuners keep this in tune even after playing rough with it.

This guitar has cajónes! Such a full rich sound! It was a pain to get put together, but this thing rocks!

Redid

Retrofitted Redid Archtop

An old Redid Archtop I rescued. I kept the original wiring since it is my first time working with the archtop guitars, but replaced the pick up with a gold foil and added new tuners and a new bridge. The gold foil from Victory pickups rocks and gives this that old 1960s feel. it is fun to play and was a bitch to work on, but I like the golden age sound!

Silver Wolf

Telecaster Frankenstein

This is a Telecaster and then some. With 3 pickups and a full slate of switches, this thing will give so many sound options it isnt messing around. The Bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan Hot Jaguar pickup, the middle is a Victory Gold Foil, and the neck is a fender 59 tele pickup. The switches give on off for each pickup as well as phase options. the body is a Paulownia wood. The tuners are Guyer tuners on a strat style neck. The pots are 250k and a nice metal Wolf emblem on the body.

Squier Mustang

Retrofitted Squier Mustang

Took out the Squier pickups and Pots, Added new 250k pots, the bridge is a Bare Knuckle, the neck is a Voltage foil vintage pickup.

Harmony

Retrofitted Harmony 804

Took this old beat up Harmony 804 and gave it some new life! Gutted the entire electronics inside that were not working. Added all new wires and 250k pots. sanded and repainted the body and added a new switch to toggle the pickups. I put in a Lace Hot Gold in the bridge and a Fender Blues pickup in the neck. New bridge and saddle too. this short scale is fun to play and gives a nice late 60s rock sound!

PRS style creation

took this weird body that i got online and added a nice neck with fender tuners. The wilkenson bridge, and new electronics and 500k pots give a clean sound. The Les Paul type switch and wiring set up work well with the Fuzzy Duck neck pickup and the Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge. kind of gives an almost PRS type of feel and sound.

East Coast Retrofit

Tele/Strat Retrofit

This is a Telecaster with a Fuzzy Duck P90 pickup in the neck and a Suhr in the bridge. This was pretty beat up when i got it, so the body definitely has that “worn” look hahaha. The new bridge and fender telecaster switch plate/pots help keep everything shining brightly.
